Rock Spill Closes Stretch Of Man O' War Boulevard

A load of rock that spilled on Man O'War Boulevard caused traffic problems Tuesday morning. The road was temporarily shutdown from Winchester Road to the I-75 on ramps. The road reopened by the lunch hour.
It was literally a rocky commute for some drivers in Lexington Tuesday morning.

Lexington Police said a dump truck lost its load of rocks along a mile stretch of Man O'War Boulevard between Winchester Road and Polo Club.

That stretch of the busy road was closed while the rocks were cleaned up.

The road reopened before the lunch hour.

No one was hurt, but a lot of drivers were inconvenienced.
