Police in Nicholasville are investigating a stabbing that happened in a grocery store bathroom late Tuesday night.

Police said the victim told them he was in the bathroom at Kroger just before midnight, when three men came in and tried to rob him.

He told police that he pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed one of the suspects in the back and torso.

That suspect was taken to UK Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.

They said they also have another suspect in custody on an unrelated charge.

Police said the victim was not hurt.
