Robbery Suspect Arrested

A man suspected of holding up a Chase bank in Richmond last November is now behind bars. 41-year-old Wesley McCracken of Myrtle Beach is the suspected robber. He was apprehended in South Carolina. Authorities say McCracken is also the man who robbed a Fifth Third Bank branch in Hamburg which happened on the same day as the Richmond holdup. Investigators also believe McCracken tried to rob a bank in Wheeling, West Virginia. Authorities think he is also connected to bank heists in Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina.
