Update: Gas Station Robbers Tried Breaking In Through Ceiling First

The station manager says the vent into the air duct was also broken into. He believes the thieves tried there first but were too big.
      Lexington police are looking for a suspect or suspects believed to of robbed a Marathon Gas Station on Red Mile Road overnight Saturday.

     The manager of the station says the alarm system was disarmed along with the surveillance cameras. He says no one knew about the robbery until the owner came to open up around 8am Sunday.

     According to the manager, more than 15-hundred dollars was taken from the ATM machine and the safe, along with two-thousand dollars worth of cigarettes.

     The screen to the vent on the roof of the building was also busted open, leaving the manager to believe that the thieves first tried breaking in through the air duct but were too big to fit into the small opening.

      Authorities say if anyone saw anything or has any information, to contact Lexington Police.
