Kentucky 192 in Laurel County will be reduced to one lane at mile point 0.008 (at the Laurel-Pulaski County line) to allow for bridge maintenance work beginning June 5 and concluding on July 5.

The width limit through the work zone will be 10'0".

The lane closure will be in effect around the clock and will be accomplished via the use of temporary traffic signals. Crews will be conducting bridge deck restoration and waterproofing work.

All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is warning motorists to be aware of the work zone and to use safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

Road condition reports for District 11 routes are available by calling 511 or by visiting the 511 travel and traffic information web site at http://511.ky.gov.
