Road Construction Continues On I-75 In Fayette County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that work is progressing on Interstate 75 in Fayette County.

I-75 northbound will continue to be reduced to two lanes between Exit 104 (Athens Boonesboro Road) and Exit 108 (Man O War Boulevard) until further notice. 

The location for the project limits is mile point 105.360 to mile point 107.450.

The speed limit is 55 MPH with double fines for violations that occur within the work zone.

All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
