The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a temporary closure is scheduled for KY 1965, or Ford’s Mill Road in Woodford County.

The road closure is necessary for slide repair work to be completed.

Work will be performed during the following dates and times:

Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The location for the work on KY 1965 will be at mile point 6.365.  Appropriate signage will be in place to alert the traveling public.  Emergency personnel will be allowed to pass through the work zone (directed by flaggers).

All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the work area.
