A missing Madison County woman has been found safe in Frankfort, according to police and a family friend.

Richmond Police had been looking for Alice Wentworth, 52, of Richmond, who went missing around 2:00 a.m. on Friday morning.

Investigators said she left her apartment in the middle of the night with her dog.

Family members said Wentworth has a history of going off on her own, but never this long without contacting someone.
