Richmond police said they received a complaint on Monday about a 19-year-old man having sex with an 11-year-old girl.

They said James Guy, II, had used social media and text messages to get the girl to have sex with him.

He was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center on Tuesday and charged with rape of a child under 12 years of age, sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years of age, and prohibited use of an electronic device to engage a minor in sex.
