After being charged with abusing his office as Commissioner of Agriculture, Richie Farmer entered the U.S. Penitentiary-Hazelton Tuesday afternoon to begin his 27-month sentence.

Farmer was originally scheduled to start his sentence last week at the West Virginia prison, but a judge granted him a delay to see his son play in the High School Sweet 16 tournament.
