Bear, a 7-year-old Pomeranian, is one of around 30 dogs rescued from a backyard breeder and needs a good home.

The Lexington Humane Society said Bear was in serious need of medical care when they found him a couple of weeks ago, but is now ready for a loving family.

Around a dozen other Pomeranians rescued from the breeder's home are up for adoption as well.

If you are interested in taking Bear or one of the Society's other pets home with you, contact the Lexington Humane Society at (869) 233-0044.
