Woman Says Stranger Broke In & Tried To Sexually Assault Her

A woman says a stranger with a knife broke into her Lexington home and tried to sexually assault her.

Police were called to the woman's house on Augusta Drive around 8:15 Tuesday morning.

The woman told officers the man came into her house through an unlocked door while she was in bed.

The woman says she fought him off and he ran away.

She told officers the man was cross-eyed and was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

She also says the man had a shirt covering his face.
