One in four Kentucky children lives in poverty.

The Kentucky Youth Advocates released a report as part of their "Kentucky Kids Count Project" Friday that listed counties and the percentage of children living there in poverty.

Some counties had higher percentages than others--the highest, Wolfe, was listed at 57.9%.

Fayette County has a 21.6% poverty rate for children, according to the report--one in five kids.

Organizations like Community Action Kentucky work to help those living in poverty--if you'd like to help, you can click on the link for more information.
