Repairs scheduled for Interstate 75 in Scott County

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that pothole repair work is scheduled for Interstate 75 in Scott County.

Work will be performed:

  • Today until 3:00 p.m.

The location for the repairs on Interstate 75 will include the northbound and southbound lanes from mile point 120 to mile point 144.  Repairs will take place in the right (slow) lanes.

A maximum of one lane will be closed at a time.  Five lanes will remain open during the hours of work (three lanes in one direction and two lanes in the direction where repairs are taking place).

Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to guide and direct motorists.

All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the area.
