Drivers could see more traffic gridlock on I-75 Thursday as repair work continues.

The interstate was backed up for miles Wednesday because of bridge deck repairs at Exit 113, which is the Paris Pike exit.

Traffic was down to one lane from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The same plan is set for Thursday at exit 115 at Newtown Pike.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the lane closures were needed to complete repairs to the bridge's deck and to reseal the bridge's expansion joints.

It said the two left lanes of northbound I-75 at the bridge over Newtown Pike would be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
