A Lexington seafood restaurant is closing.

The Regatta Seafood Grille's last day is Saturday, November 17, 2012.

The restaurant will change ownership and will be closed until next spring.

A new restaurant will open in the same location with no affiliation with the current brand.

All Regatta employees were notified two weeks prior to the scheduled closing and were offered employment at other Bluegrass Hospitality Group (BHG) locations.

Regatta gift cards will be honored at all BHG affiliated restaurants.
