American Cancer Society To Host Fundraising Event For Women

The American Cancer Society is hosting a night out for Bluegrass ladies.

The event is called Purses, Pouts, and Pearls. It will feature auctions, dinner, a cash bar, and purse bingo.

ABC 36's very own Lauren Gawthrop is the master of ceremonies for the evening. Marcie Lowe will be the honored survivor of the night.

The event starts at 7:00 p.m. August 24th at Trust Lounge located at 123 West Main Street in Lexington.

Tickets are $40 dollars per person. Tables are $300 for a reserved table of eight.
