Almost 800 Pulaski County fourth graders are taking part in "Life is Cool," a workshop to help them learn how life choices impact others' lives through organ and tissue donations.

The program, which lasts Wednesday and Thursday, lets kids tour ten different learning stations, where they focus on a particular organ or tissue of the body.

Students participate in activities like listening through a stethoscope and experiencing simulated corneal blindness.

Using pig organs, they'll also learn how organs and tissues work, and also see the affects unhealthy lifestyles can have on the body.
