Public Support Paves Way For BCTC's New Campus

Bluegrass Community and Technical College will be selling paving bricks to help raise money for scholarships and development projects on their new Newtown Pike campus.
Monday morning the public is invited out to the new Bluegrass Community and Technical College's Newtown campus.

At their 11 am kickoff event the school will be selling bricks to help raise money for scholarships and campus development projects.

The bricks will sell from $150 to $350, with Lexington Mayor Jim Gray scheduled to buy the first brick at Monday's program.

The bricks will help create a path on the Newtown campus, which opened up this past August.

The campus houses several new programs including film studies, information management and design, medical information technology, office systems technology, health information technology and real estate.

After Monday morning's program the public is welcome to take tours of the new building.
