A Fayette County jury heard opening arguments Tuesday morning in the murder trial of Marty Roe.

Roe is accused of shooting and killing Dermatologist Martha Post in September of 2011 as she left her Lexington office.

Prosecutors told the court Roe became obsessed and infatuated with Post, and that the feelings were not reciprocated.

They say Roe left repeated messages for Post and got a tattoo of her initials.

According to prosecutors, the murder weapon was found in Roe's car.
