State lawmakers could opt out of the state's pension system if they pass a bill letting themselves do it.

He believes lawmakers shouldn't be eligible for a pension.

Floyd says the pension program has enough money troubles as it is.

He has drafted an "opt-out" bill that will be considered in January.
