After 9 years of work, construction at the Blue Grass Army Depot is now more than half finished.

Crews have finished encasing the main Weapons-Destruction Building.

The new three story building is a big part of the effort to destroy the 523 tons of chemical weapons stored there.

That’s where over 100,000 rockets with nerve and mustard gas will be dismantled starting in 2020.
