Prison Inmate Stabbed To Death

 Kentucky State Police are investigating the fatal  stabbing of a prison inmate at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex in West Liberty 
 According to the Department of Corrections on Sunday, Eric Chapman left his cell at the prison, walked up to 31-year-old Michael Lynch and stabbed him in the neck several times.
 State police said Lynch was flown to the University of Kentucky hospital where he died Monday. 
 Lynch was serving a 25-year sentence for murder.
 Chapman is serving 17-years for wanton endangerment, assault and robbery.
 According to the Department of Corrections, Chapman was up for parole in June.
