The snow is beginning to fall and as temperatures continue to drop it could get very icy out here and then on top of that you add 30 to 40 mile per hour wind gusts which could lead to some very dangerous driving conditions. The Kentucky transportation cabinet has more than 990 trucks available to spread salt and clear the snow and crews have been out pretreating the roads with salt and they're ready for the city's first recorded snow of the season. You can check the state's road conditions by going to 511.ky.gov.
