KY Utilities: Lexington Power Outage Affected 1,600 Customers

Kentucky Utilities says an equipment failure Wednesday left about 1,600 customers without power.

It caused some traffic lights in Lexington to go down.

Police directed cars at Winchester and Elkhorn.

Kentucky Utilities had power restored to the affected homes by Wednesday afternoon.
