Poor Secondary Play

Poor Secondary Play

Cats must improve in defensive backfield.
Kentucky football opens up its home schedule Saturday against Miami of Ohio.  Kick-off set for noon on FS-South with UK a 17-point favorite over the Redhawks.

A big problem against Western Kentucky last Saturday for the Cats on defense?  The poor play in the secondary.

The Toppers totaled 271 yards of offense through the air, hooking up on 27 of 34 pass attempts and one touchdown.

Clearly, Mark Stoops would like to see his team perform a little better, let's be honest, a lot better at DB...but just how bad was it last week in the D-guru's mind?

Mark Stoops answers that in the video.
