Police: Woman Bit Off Part Of Roommate's Nose

Lexington police said a woman lost the tip of her nose during a fight with her roommate.

April Collins, 40, was arrested Monday just before 11 p.m. and charged with assault.

According to police, Collins got into an argument with her roommate at the Park Plaza Apartments, and bit the tip of the woman's nose off.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.

Collins is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
