Police Update: Vehicle Used In Strip Club Murder Found

Lexington Police said they found the vehicle believed to have been used by the suspects in a strip club murder.

Investigators said an on-duty officer spotted the Red Dodge Avenger backed into a parking space behind an apartment building on Rogers Road.

Still no sign of the men who police said were inside that car when it left a homicide scene at Divas Gentlemans Club on Russell Cave Road.

Investigators said Curtis Simmons, 33, was shot in the head and killed in the strip club's parking lot at closing time around 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police said the shooting followed an argument that began inside the club and re-ignited in the parking lot.

It was the second deadly shooting at the strip club since September.
