Police are trying to determine if the same person is behind robberies at two Lexington hotels.
The first robbery happened at the Microtel on Buena Vista at around 11:50 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the man walked in, showed a handgun to the clerk and demanded money.
He took off after getting it.
Police believe he got into a silver SUV.
Police said about five hours later, the Clarion Hotel on Newtown Pike was robbed by a man with a gun.
They said the description of the suspect was similar in both cases.
In both cases, the suspect did not have his face covered.
