Police: Thief Stole From Woman in Wheelchair

Richmond police accuse a woman of stealing a purse from a woman in a wheelchair.

Police say the victim was trying to get into her house on East Main Street, when 31-year-old Candace Peters swiped the purse, ran, took six-hundred dollars, and hid the money in some concrete blocks a couple of streets from the house.

Police dogs found the money, which has been returned from to the victim. Police arrested Peters, and accuse her of theft.
