Madison County Deputies say a man who was arrested tried to escape by jumping out of a moving ambulance on the eastern bypass.

The Sheriffs Office says 28-year-old Michael Harrison was arrested for reportedly holding a woman hostage at gunpoint in Waco.

Investigators say he complained of chest pain during his arrest.

They say it was during his trip to the hospital that he jumped out.

He was quickly recaptured by a deputy who was following the ambulance.
