Police: Suspect Arrested For Deadly Gas Station Clerk Shooting

A gas station clerk is dead and police have arrested the suspect they believe is responsible.

According to Lexington Police, someone found a clerk, bleeding and unresponsive, behind the counter at the Marathon gas station on Alexandria Drive on Monday afternoon.

The clerk 51-year-old Mukeshbhai Patel was rushed to UK Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Lexington Police have arrested Travis Michael Bredhold, in relation to the shooting investigation.

It’s not clear yet what led to the shooting.
