Police say a student was hurt Friday afternoon after a bus crash right outside of Berea.

Investigators say the bus was on Short Line Pike when the driver lost control, grazed a tree and ended up in a ditch.

Police say some Madison Southern students were on board when it happened.

According to investigators, one student was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The remaining students were picked up by another bus to continue on their route.

Police are still trying to figure out what led to the crash.
