Police: Social Worker Used Position to Buy Drugs

A social worker is accused of using his position to buy drugs.
A social worker is accused of using his position to buy drugs.

Court documents said police arrested Chad Buckley Tuesday night.

Police said Buckley bought oxycontin from the parent of a child under his supervision.

Buckley works as a social worker for the Kentucky Cabinet of Health and Family Services.

The Cabinet is not going into any details about the case.

“I don't understand someone in that position taking advantage of children and mommies and daddies who don't have their babies laying next to them every night,” said Gina Price, grandmother of another child under Buckley’s supervision.

The court ordered Buckley to have no contact with the child and to be subject to random drug tests.
