Police say the man accused in Tuesday's Hazard shootings bought the gun the same day.

21-year-old Dalton Stidham is accused of shooting and killing three people in the parking lot of Hazard Community and Technical College.

One of those victims was 12 years old.

Police say Stidham bought the gun at a pawn shop.

Investigators say the purchase was legal and all the paperwork is in order.
