Lexington police are on the lookout for a hit-and-run driver who smashed into a man's newly bought vehicle off Lynn Drive early Wednesday morning. Police were called to a home at 820 Lynn Drive just after 1:30 am for a report of a hit and run accident.

It appears a driver was going down Faircrest Avenue trying to turn onto Lynn Drive and missed the road going through a corner yard and hitting a van in a driveway. The driver then fled the scene. The owner of the van said he just purchased it. Police say the other vehicle likely has significant damage and are asking anyone with information concerning this accident to contact them.
