Police say they are looking for 40-year-old Daniel Martinez.  Police say he shot a man in the back on Cambridge Drive Tuesday morning.

Police thought he barricaded himself inside an apartment, but after a three-hour standoff police learned he was not there.

At this time, police do not know where Martinez is, but he could be armed and dangerous.

The victim went to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

One neighbor said the Cardinal Valley area has been overtaken by drugs and shootings.

Police are familiar with Martinez.  According to the jail, he spent a weekend there just two weeks ago.  His rap sheet dates back to 2004.
