A Central Kentucky jail inmate makes a clean getaway while he was supposed to be cleaning the floors.

Tonight, authorities are still looking for Montgomery County Regional Jail escapee David Tidwell.

He was in jail on a robbery charge.

The jail says Tidwell was cleaning floors around 12:30 Friday morning when he made a break for it, running past two guards in the jail lobby before disappeaing into the darkness.

Tidwell was last seen on the Mt. Sterling bypass around 1:00 am.
