Police said the man walked into Diamond Masters on North Locust Hill, pretended to be a customer and shopped for rings for about 30 minutes.

Police said when the owners were distracted, they said the man palmed one of the diamond rings and left.

Just after the man walked out, police said the owners realized what happened and ran out after him but he was gone.
