On Tuesday we told you about a case where a 74-year-old woman said she woke up to find a man with his pants off in her bedroom. Winchester Police charged Travis Asher with first degree rape.

On Thursday the Clark County Court system said the rape charge was dropped against 22-year-old Asher. Instead, the Court said Asher is now charged with burglary.

Police said the woman recognized Asher as one of her grandson’s friends. Investigators said he was found hiding in some bushes after running out of the woman’s home.

Asher will head back to court on June 25th.
