A man is fighting for his life at UK Hospital, after he was involved in what Lexington Police call a freak motorcycle accident.

Police say Joseph Jennings crashed a motorcycle on Spurr Road in Lexington.

They say Jennings was making a left turn when he lost control and hit a wooden fence on a horse farm.

He was trapped in the fence until another driver came upon the scene and called 911.

Police say Jennings was wearing a helmet and was not speeding, and that the accident had to do with the type of motorcycle he was driving.

The collision reconstruction unit is assisting with the investigation.
