Lexington police said a man tried to rob the Burger King on Richmond Road Sunday morning, but something scared him.

Officers said one of the managers was emptying out the trash, when the man in the photo followed him back inside.

They said the man pulled a gun and demanded access to the safe.

That's when police said something spooked him.

He ran away, without any money.

No one was hurt.
