Police Respond To Back-to-Back Hit and Run Accidents

Lexington police responded to two hit-and-run accidents that happened within an hour of each other.
Lexington police were busy overnight investigating two hit-and-run accidents that happened less than an hour of each other.

According to police, three cars were struck along Victoria Way just after 12 a.m. Friday by a driver that took off.

Police said the suspect's vehicle was found abandoned and damaged nearby on Mooncoin Way.

Officers said they found an open alcohol container inside the vehicle.

Just an hour before, officers also responded to a second unrelated hit-and-run accident that happened on Nicholasville Road and Man O' War Boulevard. A driver struck another car and took off.

Police are searching for the suspects in both accidents.
