Police say a man was shot after a domestic violence call Monday.

Kentucky State Police are investigating the shooting on Hanson Street in Paris.

Paris Police went to the home for a domestic violence call, but found a man with a weapon.

KSP says the man got into a scuffle with a Paris officer, forcing the officer to shoot the man.

The man, who has not yet been named, was taken to Bourbon Community Hospital, then transferred to UK Hospital for treatment.

ABC 36 has a crew at the scene and will update as more information becomes available.
