A Lexington mom was arrested after police said she left her child at home to go out drinking.
Officers arrested Sarah Blue, 35, late Thursday night after a neighbor told them Blue’s 4-year-old was wandering the halls of the apartment complex looking for her mom.
Police documents said Blue was at Merrick Inn for an hour or two, then came back to the home with glassy eyes, dilated pupils, slow response time and slurred speech. Police also said Blue smelled of alcohol.
She is charged with child endangerment.
