An armed man tried to rob someone in Danville.

Police say the suspect went into a house, ordered the homeowner to the floor, then demanded money and prescription drugs. This happened on Old Shakertown Road around one p.m. According to police, the man then ran away.

The homeowner wasn't hurt. The suspect is tall -- about six-foot-two or six-foot-three -- and 190 pounds. Police say he wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray shorts, and a ski mask.
