Police: Man Tried to Choke Wife

State police say a fight between a husband and wife turned into an attempted murder.

Police say they were called to a home in Ohio County late Saturday night, because of a fight between Samuel and Donna Snell. According to troopers, Snell started hitting and pushing his wife, and eventually tried to strangle her with a wire cord.

Police arrested Snell. He's now accused of attemped murder. Police say her injuries turned out to be minor.
