Lexington Police say a man tried to lure a 12-year old girl into his pickup truck.

They say it happened at around 8:00am Wednesday as the 6th grader was waiting for a school bus on St. Margaret Street.

She reportedly told police a man in a pickup pulled up and asked her to get in.

Police say when she refused, the man started cursing at the child then drove off.

The girl told officers the man was in a dark Ford F-150 pickup with tinted windows with damage in the rear.

Police are still looking for the man.
