Police: Man Shot On North Limestone

Lexington Police said a man has non-life threatening injuries after being shot on North Limestone.
Another shooting to add to the list, this one happened on North Limestone in broad daylight.

Police responded to the shooting at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. A man was found in this vehicle with a upper right shoulder gun wound.

Witnesses saw a suspect running from the scene. He was described as a young man, short, wearing all black.

Marlene Bishop, a neighbor, heard the gunshot. She said it's terrifying, especially with all the children living on the street.

"It's scary, it's got to stop. we have too many kids. this is my baby, this is the only one i got, and i don't know what i would do if anything happened to him," said Bishop.

Keith Stubbleville lives right next to where the shooting happened. He said people need to avoid this area.

"Stay out of the area if you don't live here. If you have to live here, mind your own business, it's the only way to be safe," says Stubbleville.

Police said the man has non-life threatening injuries.
