Lexington police say a man was driving on Richmond Road this afternoon when he spotted his own car headed in the opposite direction.

They go on to say the car had been stolen last month and the man followed the car while calling them.

Officers say then they approached the car, the driver took off eventually crashing into a utility pole on St. Margaret Drive.

When that happened, they say the two men inside jumped out and ran.

        They're still looking for them.
